Ty Talbert received his first black belt in Tang So Do, from Master Lee of Burlington NJ at the age of 15. He studied Black Tiger
Kung Fu (Fu Jow Pai) while in college before joining the Marine Corps. While in Okinawa Japan as a team member with the 3rd
Reconnaissance Battalion he was able to compete on the Marine Corps Karate Team. His secondary duty with Recon was Assistant
Close Combat Instructor. After that first assignment as a close combat instructor, it was always his secondary duty throughout his
twenty year career. After his first tour with Recon he went to Marine Security Guard Duty and provided security for several
embassies, the DEA, ambassadors’ and Vice President Bush. Later he met Lt. Jack Hoban and began his training in Ninjutsu. He
received his first black belt in Ninjutsu under Kevin Millis of Irvine Ca. Mr. Talbert has also studied Aikido, Brazilian Jujitsu, and Tai
Chi. Ty has put his skills to the test in combat and on the street as a bouncer and body guard.
