One Good Self Defense Technique
      Line of Force

Appling this principal to any technique of any style of martial art will make the technique 100 times more
effective: Aikido, Boxing, Capoeira ……………. you get the idea.

A fellow member of my church was nice enough to invite me to his business to give a seminar on self
defense.  This individual is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and assistant instructor at his dojo. At the end of the
seminar he asked me to show him my favorite technique.  I demonstrated a shoulder check technique I use
against paparazzi, to knock them down.  I like the technique because even when caught on film, if done
    correctly, looks like an accident.

I applied the technique at about 25 percent.  My friend was driven back a good 20 feet and had to do a
backward roll to recover. He and his wife (another black belt) were amazed.  I explained the effectiveness of
the technique, was due to how it was applied.  He and his wife had never heard of this principle in their years
    of study.

    Appling this principle is simple:

    •        Draw a line from toe to toe of the antagonist’s feet.
    •        Draw another line perpendicular to the first line
    •        The second line is the Line of Force
    •        Push, pull, throw, strike or kick on the Line of Force

Practice this principle enough and it will become automatic.
This principle maximizes technique. If you want to be sure you are applying this principle with minimum
effort/maximum effect stop by The Corona Self Defense Company (use your favorite technique in conjunction
with this principle on my partner Bob) for a free, no pressure, class.
